20 August 2024- Terengganu State Level World River Day Celebration Program 2024 was held today at Kalang Warisan, Kampung Pulau Manis, Kuala Terengganu. This program was inaugurated by the Honorable Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, Secretary of the Terengganu State Government. Also accompanying the Honorable, YBrs. Ir. Ts. Osman Bin Abdullah, Director of Terengganu State Irrigation and Drainage Department, YBrs. Mr. Haji Ir. Mohamad Mohyddin Bin Mohd Noor, General Manager of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Terengganu State, YBrs. Mr. Azran Amin Bin Mazlan, Kuala Terengganu District Officer, Kuala Terengganu District & Land Office and YBrs. Encik Mohd Nasir Bin Kassim, Deputy Director (Sectoral) of Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit - UPEN. This World River Day celebration was held in collaboration with the Kalang Warisan community and also the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Terengganu State. Various side events such as planting trees, health check counters, buying used oil from Sally Global Enterprise, cooking ashura porridge, baking traditional Terengganu "Nganang" cakes and various other side activities with the local community. May the celebration of World River Day this year be able to sow and increase awareness among all of us to take care of and love this river in a sustainable way for our mutual benefit.
