The Terengganu Department of Mechanical and Electrical Services has carried out work to upgrade the Teluk Pasu Water Gate in Kuala Terengganu to improve flood control efficiency. The scope of work of this project is to upgrade the manual sluice to an electric system, and the replacement of the wooden type sluice to steel.
