SITE VISIT TO KUALA NERUS BEACH EROSION CONTROL PROJECT

28 February 2024 - A site visit to the Kuala Nerus Coastal Erosion Control Project was held by the Director General of the Malaysian Irrigation and Drainage Department - JPS, namely Major (K) Dato' Ir. Dr. Haji Ahmad Anuar bin Othman. This site visit was also held in conjunction with the Director General's official working visit to the State of Terengganu yesterday. Also accompanying this visit is the Deputy Director General (Expert Sector) namely YBrs. Ir. Amiruddin Bin Alaldin, Director of Terengganu State Irrigation and Drainage Department, Ir. Haji Hanizan Bin Deraman as well as officials and staff from Terengganu State Department of State, Terengganu Federal Project Implementation Unit UPPPT and Kuala Nerus District Irrigation and Drainage Department. The main purpose of this visit is to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the project on site as well as to identify issues with the implementation of work on site so that the project can be completed as planned. It is hoped that with the implementation of this project, the objectives of the project can be achieved and then the inspiration and hopes of the local people will be met and resolved.
